International Planned Parenthood Federation 2023-2028 Strategy

As the creative writer of IPPF’s latest strategy, I worked closely with the strategic team to develop a narrative framework, draft the strategy text and engage in consultation with actors within the federation to finalize the strategy text. The strategy will guide the work of 108 independent Member Associations working in over 140 countries worldwide for the next five years.

Save The Children Gender Digital Advocacy Communications

Responsible for steering SCUS’s advocacy and messaging on gender equality in childhood and girls’ empowerment – with a focus on ending child marriage, fair financing and accountability to girls and increasing their leadership and participation.

Amongst others developed Save’s International Day of the Girl Child and16 Days of Violence Against Girls campaigns, contributed to the development of the Global Girlhood Report 2022: Girls on the frontline, and designed a toolkit on Making Generation Equality Accountable to Girls.

Share-Net Solidarity Narratives

For the 2020 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence, Shake The Dust designed and published the online Solidary Narratives Campaign which highlighted Share-Net member’s own thoughts on ways to tackle gender-based violence using audio-visual elements and storytelling. 

Right Here Right Now - Beijing+25 & Generation Equality Forum Position Paper

Shake The Dust conducted desktop research and informal interviews with key stakeholders to identify key issue pertaining to this important global process and providing solid recommendations to bolster action and improve meaningful youth participation.

More Than Brides Alliance
Communications & Advocacy

Between May – October 2021, Shake The Dust led the advocacy and communications efforts of the More Than Brides Alliances. This included the alliances social media outreach, strategic engagements and future-proofing of the MTBA website and knowledge platform.

CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality Interactive Booklet

Shake The Dust worked with key CHOICE partners to draft innovative and creative Stories of Change that highlight lessons learned, successes and stories of change from the Get Up Speak Out and Yes I Do consortia programmes.

United World College Maastricht Consent Castle Workshop & Keynote Speech

For the Speak Up Conference, Shake The Dust worked together with young students to deliver a keynote speech on consent and power dynamics and host two workshop sessions.
During the workshop focused on using play and creativity, students used
Play Doh to navigate conversations about wants, needs, boundaries and limits.
